About Hand In Hand Preschool
Hand In Hand Preschool opened in January of 2008. Our classes started in September of 2008. I opened this preschool in honor of my son Noah who was a late talker and then diagnosed with autism. When we started seeing a delay in his speech, we contacted First Steps to have Noah evaluated. Before Noah was born I was teaching and also pursuing my career in Nashville TN. I was mentored by the late Dottie West. I was meeting with record executives about a major record deal. I knew in my heart something was missing in my life. I wanted to be a mommy. I gave birth to Noah in 1998 and I put my career on hold. At that time, it was a very hard decision. I know now that God led me in another direction... To use my music to help my child speak. Our road with Noah and his disorder has been a very hard and trying time for me and my husband. I am so blessed to have this chance to share my music with each of your children. I want to be there for each of you during this time in your lives. When we started our long road, we didn't have a clue about what we should do and who to contact for help. I have learned a lot through our experience to help you through this time. Please know that I am always here if you are needing to talk, need advice, have questions or just need a hug. I understand what you are going through and hope that I can make it easier for you.
I attended IPFW for my Early Childhood Education. I started teaching in 1991 in Warsaw, Indiana.
